Chapter 69 of Errors & Omissions is up!

My apologies for yet another long delay between chapters. My new position at work is much more demanding than my last, which leaves little time or energy for writing. To top that off, we seem to have had a spring full of various family obligations that further reduce time and energy. Fortunately, I've been blessed with a very understanding hubby and I think things might change for the better in the next few months. That's all I'll say for now - don't want to jinx anything - but let's just say I'm still hopeful I can finish writing Errors in 2014.

So this chapter took so long to write that when I was done I just wanted to post it, and it was much too long to drop on my Beta and expect a quick turnaround. Therefore, it's presented to you hot off the presses and raw (as in pretty much unedited except for a run of spell check). I apologize in advance for the length and for any mistakes, but at this point I figured it was better to post than to wait.

A portion of this chapter features a couple of characters that I'm using courtesy of another fan fiction writer who dropped out of the Twilight slash fan fic scene quite a while ago. She had given her permission for the use of her characters and she had even read a very early version of a part of this chapter. The storyline has since changed so that part of the chapter was largely re-written, but the kernel of the original is still there. So I just want to say, Thanks, Christie!, for writing an awesome story and letting me borrow your guys and mold them somewhat to fit Errors.

If you want to read a little more about the Halloween party that features in this chapter, you should know that John posted a new chapter of Culture Aftershock today. Today's chapter, Chapter 47, is actually part 2 of Culture Aftershock's description of the Halloween party. To read the whole thing start with Chapter 46.

Also, I'm really excited to tell you that John has written a sort of supernatural version of a scene you get a glimpse of in this chapter of Errors. It's an erotic short story and a different, fun take on John's original characters who happen to reside in the E&O verse. John will self-publish it on Amazon soon, and I will have a link here as soon as it's available!

Last but not least, I want to give my thanks to you, the readers, whose continued encouragement keep me writing, and also to Natalie, whom I didn't give a chance to Beta this chapter but who would have done a wonderful job given the opportunity, and to John, who keeps me sane thought our daily collaboration. I love you all!

Okay, now without further ado, here's the link to Errors Chapter 69.

Happy Reading!

Love, Liz

  2. Great chapter, Liz!

I'm just wondering since the chapters are no longer on FanFiction.net, to they appear in another location like AO3 where a downloader can collate them into an ebook format? If not, do you plan to provide the complete story in one complete resource? I sure hope so! :-D

P.S. Sorry if this is a double post as my first attempt seemed to have blipped out of existence.

  3. Hi Mel,

After the whole fan fiction takedown without warning I decided not to post the story on another third party site, so this is the only place you'll find it. I know it's not an ideal format, but it's the only one where I am only subject to the whims of Google and as long as I have the adult label on I can be relatively sure that the content won't be deleted without warning or explanation. As far as providing the complete story in one complete resource, at this point it's so long that I don't even think it's possible. With something like 1,000,000 words, any .pdf would be too large to offer for downloads, even if I had the time and patience to put one together (because I don't have all the chapters in one file myself.)

So, unfortunately, this is it. But the good news is that I really am trying to wrap it up so there isn't much more of the story to go. Thank you for suffering through it so far and I hope you'll come back to read the rest despite the less-than-ideal format.

    Hugs!

    Liz
